Single Daters Get a Taste of The Sandbox

Atlanta, Ga., July 13, 2007 — Many of Atlanta’s single men and women are finding a number of fun and exciting activities to engage in lately, and The Sandbox has been the source of many of them. The Sandbox-sponsored activities include speed dating events, fancy dinners, happy hours, and even the occasional wine tasting.
           
“Wine tasting is a classy way to meet someone that you may have something in common with,” said John Parker. “The wines were great, and the women were friendly and attractive.”
           
The wine tasting allowed singles to learn more about the wines of their choice, while socializing and getting to know people with the same ‘tastes’. “If I wanted to invite someone that I’d met at the wine tasting over for dinner, I’d know exactly which wine to serve,” Beth Johnston observed. “And, it would act as a great conversation piece.”
           
There are several places to host wine tastings in the Atlanta area, including restaurants Twist, Shout, and local favorite, The Grape.  The Sandbox plans to hold more wine tastings in various parts of Atlanta, as well as parties and events, such as Cupid’s Shaken and Stirred, which will be held Valentine’s Day at Shout.  For more information on The Sandbox events and promotions, visit www.sandboxdating.com.
